PRESS: Transmashholding co-owners to set machine-sharing service
MOSCOW, Jun 21 (PRIME) -- The shareholders of Russian railway equipment producer Transmashholding have suggested creating a service for sharing machines for local producers,
Vedomosti business daily reported on Tuesday citing CEO of the company Kirill Lipa.
“Transmashholding together with StankoRemService and five largest holdings of the country in different industries have proposed setting up a service which will help to jointly use available machines and maintain them,” Lipa told the daily at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
“In the near future the platform will help supply them with the necessary consumables and components,” Lipa said.
According the executive, the issue of equipment sharing is particularly relevant as a number of foreign suppliers refused to work with Russian companies because of the situation in Ukraine.
